NotesSCINTILLA DAY ONE: WHO ARE YOU? #scintilla
so, I am not sure that I am going to do this project, but just in case, i thought i would go ahead and do day one by posting some pics.
most of these are “postcards” that i created for a project more than a few years ago. with the exception of a very limited number of people, no one has ever seen them, so how lucky for you that you get to see them now.
they are all painfully true, all relevant to who i am, and all paint a pretty complete picture of @dhmarshal when viewed in totality.
the first image is a text cloud of words from my tweets. i think it also says a lot about me (mostly that I like to use bad words).

So, my friend @asg923 has decided to give a new diet a try. Below is my prediction of how it will go (in the format—poorly formatted format—of a screenplay).
FADE IN:
INTERIOR OF @ASG923’S CAR - MORNING
@ASG923’S is driving. JANE is in her car seat singing along to DORA THE EXPLORER or something cute.
FLASHBACK
INTERIOR OF @ASG923’S BEDROOM - TWO DAYS AGO
@ASG923 is sitting on her bed. She is reading the last page of The 17 Day Diet. She finishes the book and closes it. She smiles.
BACK TO PRESENT DAY
EXTERIOR STREET
@ASG923’S car moves down the road.
ZOOM to @ASG923’S face. She looks in the distance and sees something. Her eyes glaze over. She gives an eerie smile.
CUT TO a DUNKIN DONUTS that @ASG923 sees in the distance.
FADE TO BLACK
FADE IN AERIAL SHOT on a car that has crashed into the front of the same DUNKIN DONUTS. Inside the car sits JANE, unharmed. She stares out the front windshield of the car.
CUT TO @ASG923 standing behind the DUNKIN DONUTS counter. She has a large tub of cream cheese cradled under her left arm. With her right hand she is grabbing bagels, taking as many into her mouth at one time as she can. She is clearly having a hard time chewing and swallowing, but this does not stop her. A DUNKIN DONUTS employee attempts to pull her away by grabbing her waist and dragging her to the ground. Prepared, @ASG923 grabs a handful of the plastic knives that are used to spread cream cheese and stabs all of them into the employee’s throat. He falls to the ground. Dead. Now thoroughly pissed and unsatisfied with the speed of consumption, @ASG923 unhinges her jaw, throws her head back and begins dumping a tray of bagels into her mouth. Without swallowing, the bagels go down her throat. @ASG923 laughs. People are screaming. Children are crying. In the distance, police sirens can be heard.
FADE TO BLACK
FADE IN to INTERIOR OF A PRISON
In the distance a door can be seen. The door is solid, with the exception of a tiny rectangle cut into it, probably for passing food to the prisoner. Inside the room, a woman screams words, but her words are unintelligible.
ZOOM TO INTERIOR OF PRISONER’S CELL
@ASG923 sits rocking on her bed. She is screaming for something, but she is muzzled. The scream sounds a lot like CARBS. GIVE ME MORE CARBS.
FADE TO BLACK
